With prom season dwindling to a close, Cedartown High School was able to finish in a promising way! Members of the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) group were able to get over 80 students to sign a prom pledge. In this pledge, students agreed, “Not to use alcohol or other drugs, nor will I get into a car with someone who has been drinking.”
These students chose to make responsible decisions during a heightened time of year when many teens find themselves in dangerous situations due to alcohol or other drug use. The Coalition to Prevent the Misuse of Alcohol would just like to give a big shout out to these students for committing to Rethink the Drink!
