Sometimes, emotional or physical pain can feel like it’s defeating us. In times of high stress, many people turn to alcohol and other harmful drugs to cope with the trauma. However, these are fleeting, momentary solutions and will not help you deal with your pain longterm or even help you process the source of the pain. We encourage you this week to research better ways for coping with emotional and physical distress. Find a well-reviewed therapist in your area. Take up a hiking habit and enjoy the fall colors.
